Velissarios Cholis
Associate
Velissarios advises domestic and international clients, such as financial institutions, banks and other corporations, on a wide variety of issues arising in his practice areas.
His experience includes drafting of legal opinions, mainly in respect of civil liability and maritime issues. He has, also, participated in projects regarding the negotiation, sale and purchase of vessels and newbuilding projects along with the financing of the subject transactions.
Velissarios received his LL.B and an LL.M in Banking Law from the University of Athens in 2000 and 2002 respectively. He, also, attended University College London where he received another LL.M in International Trade Law in 2003.
