Ufuk Saracoglu-Melas

Associate

Ufuk advises clients on all aspects of Company & Commercial and EU, Competition & Regulatory Compliance law, with a focus on the law of intellectual property. She has experience in advising on all forms of foreign investment and has represented clients from a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, electricity, automotive and telecommunications.

Prior to working with the firm, she was employed at the legal department of Arthur Andersen, Istanbul and Ernst & Young, Ankara.

Ufuk has been published on a variety of matters, including most recently “Trademark Rights and International Protection of Trademarks” and “Innovations of the Working Environment for Expatriates in Turkey”. She has also worked on the publications “A Guide to Tax and Legal Aspects for Expatriates in Turkey” and “Distribution Law in Europe”.

Ufuk received her LL.B. from the University of Ankara in 1997 and a Cambridge Certificate from the SCC in 1998. She is a member of the International Association of Lawyers (UIA).
