Sector Specific Experience

PI Partners advises the Association of Greek Institutional Investors on developments in the domestic and international regulatory environment. This enables us to follow and influence regulatory developments across the European Union as well as in Greece.

We act as advisers to the Athens Exchange and Clearing House and Stathis Potamitis is a member of the Athens Exchange Legal Council. He also served as first vice president of and legal counsel to the Athens Derivatives Exchange (now merged into the Athens Exchange) and, together with George Bersis, designed the overall legal framework of the Derivatives Exchange from 1997 to 2000 and the dematerialised securities system of the Central Securities Depositary.

We have also been involved in the drafting of securities regulation legislation such as the Code of Conduct for Investment Service Firms.
