She received her LL.B. from the University of Athens in 1999 and an LL.M. from the University of Kent at Canterbury in 2000.

Maria acts in a variety of matters arising in her practice areas, in particular the drafting of all types of commercial agreement and compliance by companies listed on the Athens Exchange with the regulations in place. She has acted in a number of due diligence reviews in the context of initial public offerings and has assisted clients in their corporate governance.
