Ioannis Meimeteas

Ioannis has experience on all aspects of
Company & Commercial law, from assisting clients in their ongoing corporate governance and the protection of intellectual property rights, to conducting due diligence reviews prior to public offerings. He is specialized in the protection of personal data, in particular compliance with the data protection legislation in place and notification of surveillance systems to the authorities.
His
Labour law practice includes advising leading national and international companies on the full range of Labour law matters arising in the course of their business, from the drafting of their employment agreements to immigration issues. He also has an interest in Human Rights. He participated in a research project on the implementation of international human rights standards led by Professor J. Iliopoulos – Strangas and formed part of the team of lawyers from PI Partners which contributed the chapter on Greece in “The In-house Counsel’s Guide to E-Commerce” for the International Technology Law Review.
Ioannis received his LL.B. from the University of Athens in 1995 and a Certificate of European Law from the University of Saarbrücken, Germany in 1997. He has an LL.M. from the University of Hamburg, Germany which he obtained in 1998. Ioannis also has a Certificate for the European Enlargement from the University of Saarbrucken after following a one year programme on EU governing bodies and policies.
