Ioannis Kontoulas

Ioannis advises on a wide variety of matters arising in his practice areas. In particular he has been involved in the representation of the boards of public companies in class actions initiated by shareholders, of investment banks in claims arising from the sale and purchase of securities and in disputes arising from distribution and agency agreements.
Prior to joining the firm, Ioannis worked as an intern with the Legal Council of the Greek State.
He has assisted the organizing committees of the 27th Annual Conference on International Antitrust Law & Policy and the Symposium on Derivatives & Risk Management Policy both at the Fordham Corporate Law Institute, Fordham University, in October 2000 and March 2001 respectively, by reviewing the materials submitted by the speakers.
He received his LL.B. from the University of Athens in 1998 and an LL.M. from Fordham University, New York in 2001 in Banking, Corporate and Finance law.
