Evangelia Kounenou

Associate

Evangelia’s practice focuses on finance, corporate finance and capital markets. She has worked on numerous matters involving international commercial, business and financial law and is experienced in drafting all types of documentation from loan and security agreements to listing prospectuses. Evangelia has also been involved in due diligence reviews and advising on regulatory and non-regulatory matters arising in relation to UCITS, as well as developments in the area of takeover law.

Prior to joining PI Partners, Evangelia worked with the German firm Wessing (now Taylor Wessing) in Frankfurt am Main and has also worked for the American firm Latham & Watkins LLP both in Germany and London.

Evangelia received her LL.B. from Democritus University of Thrace in 1999, followed by an LL.M. from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität, Frankfurt am Main in 2001. In 2003, she obtained an MSc in Law and Accounting at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Since 2002, she has been a member of the bar of Frankfurt am Main, admitted as Dikigoros.
